Nice to meet you!

Welcome! I’m Kelly Keck, and I am a licensed mental health counselor, born and raised in the state of New York. I have Master’s degrees in both Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Forensic Psychology from John Jay College. In my therapy practice, I believe in a holistic and person-centered approach. The brain, body, and soul all work together - when one is out of sync, it throws off the balance of the entire person. I work collaboratively with my clients to build a trusting and empathetic bond with each and every one.

In my sessions, I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy to help you identify and understand behavioral patterns. In this way we can create new processes and develop stronger, healthier coping mechanisms. I am also trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) as a therapeutic tool. For more information on my process, see the “Services” page!

In addition to my training as a therapist, I am also an ACE certified personal trainer. I’m very passionate about physical health and fitness, and I believe that the things you put into your body and the environment you surround yourself with have measurable effects on your mental and emotional well being.

When I’m not working, I can often be found hiking with my husband and my dog or practicing yoga!
